Special Ed Forced Labor

I'll be posting more details on this as the campaign develops. For now, a basic introduction to the issue will have to suffice. A video interview with Bernie Dalien, the father who has been leading the fight so far, by picketing at his son's high school as well as at the Puyallup school district's main office, can be found (in 2 parts)here and here. An article describing some recent developments in the campaign, and some of the coalition-building being done around this issue, appeared in the March-May 2009 issue of Intersections, the newsletter of NW Common Action, an anarchist organization here in Cascadia.
